    July 07, 2019 2 min read

Hello friends and welcome back to Taylor Tuesday! Today we are going to cover one of Taylor Guitars' Featured Artists! Phillip Phillips! The all time most successful winner of American Idol, winning the competition in 2012. with his Coronation song, "Home" going on to be the best selling Coronation song of all time. He has gone on to produce two studio albums since then, The World From the Wrong Side of the Moon (2012), and, Behind the Light (2014). He also has a pretty cool story about Falling in Love with a Taylor! https://youtu.be/JKjnpvCvhqA Phillips has gone on to be an incredible success in the music industry since his triumph on the popular show back in 2012. Many people have compared his style to that of another Taylor supported artist, Dave Mathews. When asked about it, Mathews had this to say,

"More power to him, I don't mind... He should kick my ***, [then] maybe I can retire and he can take over my band."

Here is a video of Phillips Playing Dave Mathews Band's song, The Stone.  https://youtu.be/1OFK2ZzyntQ Phillips typically plays on three Taylor Models:
