Taylor Tuesday - Taylor 914ce

We here at Heartbreaker Guitars hope you're ready to Fall in Love! This Taylor is everything you could want it to be. The 900 series has always had a reputation for eye-watering aesthetics and incredibly layered tone, and the 914ce lives up to that reputation in every way. The 914ce has the added benefits of a Venetian cutaway and a soundbox bevel to add new facets to the play-ability of the guitar that makes it almost impossible to put down once you pick it up. The Taylor 914ce displays a broad tonal spectrum, with a deep, full low end, warm mids, and clear trebles that give it a versatility that will allow you to play in almost any style. The grand auditorium body style projects amazingly well!

The Body

The standard Taylor 914ce comes with a solid Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. These woods are bound with Ebony and accented with a beautiful combination of Koa and Paua. There is also a soundbox bevel for added playing comfort, and a Venetian cutaway that allows greater access to the upper frets. The body is braced with Taylor's Advanced Performance Bracing with a relief rout.

The Neck

The neck of the 914ce is made with beautiful Tropical Mahogany,  and capped with an Ebony fretboard. The 914ce is inlayed with Taylor's eye-catching Ascension Inlay, which is set with Abalone Shell. The neck has a comfortable 1 3/4" width and a modern profile that will make you never want to stop playing this thing!

Electronics

The guitar comes with Taylor's 2 Pickup Expression System. This allows the system to pickup every nuance of this guitar.
