The Summer of 2023 at Furch Guitars was a busy one! Petr Furch launched a huge event dedicated to educating vendors and dealers on all the dynamics of building a Furch Guitar. In order to commemorate that Summer, Heartbreaker Guitars and Furch teamed up to launch a special limited edition instrument intended to “blow away” all the guitars players out there! What was designed was the Limited Edition Furch GNc “2023 Back Stage” Commemorative Guitar. It took almost 18 months to receive the first one, but it did not disappoint!
These nylon string guitars have either a Red Cedar top or an Alpine Spruce top over a Master Grade Cocobolo back and sides. Adorned with with a lovely Abalone sound hole rosette, these guitars are understated, yet elegant. The bridge, headstock and back and sides are all Cocobolo. Cocobolo is a lovely tonewood which is similar to Rosewood, with a decidedly more brilliant finish.
