The Summer of 2023 at Furch Guitars was a busy one! Petr Furch launched a huge event dedicated to educating vendors and dealers on all the dynamics of building a Furch Guitar. In order to commemorate that Summer, Heartbreaker Guitars and Furch teamed up to launch a special limited edition instrument intended to “blow away” all the guitars players out there! What was designed was the Limited Edition Furch GNC-LC “2023 Back Stage” Commemorative Guitar. It took almost 18 months to receive the first one, but it did not disappoint!
These nylon string guitars have either a Red Cedar top or an Alpine Spruce top over a Master Grade Cocobolo back and sides. Adorned with with a lovely Abalone sound hole rosette, these guitars are understated, yet elegant. The bridge, headstock and back and sides are all Cocobolo. Cocobolo is a lovely tonewood which is similar to Rosewood, with a decidedly more brilliant finish.
