Rick Turner Renaissance RS6 Deuce Burst Acacia / Mahogany #5711

The RS6 Deuce is a lightweight AmpliCoustic guitar handmade in Santa Cruz, California by Rick Turner Guitars. These guitars reproduce full frequency acoustic tone for recording and performing. The thinline body is built like a fine acoustic guitar, but with an added Cedar center block to cut feedback. A Turner Timberline piezo bridge pickup feeds full spectrum signals to an 18v D-TAR Wavelength preamp. The Deuce model adds a customized Seymour Duncan StagMag pickup which optimizes the response of phosphor bronze strings. It has a separate volume, tone and coil split from the piezo controls. This model can be wired for separate outputs for each pickup, or blended through one output. It’s brilliant in sound, unique, and offers an expanded use for the Renaissance steel string.

Constructed like true acoustic instruments, with bent sides and a braced tone wood top and back, the Renaissance series truly represents the best way to achieve acoustic tone plugged in.
