Richard Fortus has been with Guns and Roses for almost 20 years accompanying legendary guitar player, Slash.  His tone, although unique and inspiring also happens to perfectly compliment the legendary tone of Slash.  This unique guitar features many Paoletti trademark features including an ancient reclaimed Chestnut body from the Paoletti family stash, beautiful custom brass, leather and crocodile themed appointments, custom hand-wound pickups and shotgun shell knobs. These signature instruments have been further customized with special wiring that makes the volume control extremely responsive and dynamic. The guitar’s body, like all their creations, is made of Chestnut wood recovered from wine barrels  The neck is pure Curly Maple (Top A quality wood from Canada), with a caramel roasting process which makes it more stable and reliable.
