The Rick Turner Renaissance RS6 Classic with Port Orford Cedar over Sycamore is a lightweight stage acoustic guitar handmade in Santa Cruz, California by Rick Turner. These guitars reproduce full frequency acoustic tone for recording and performing. The thinline body is built like a fine acoustic guitar, but with an added Cedar center block to cut feedback. A Turner Timberline piezo bridge pickup feeds full spectrum signals to an 18v D-TAR Eclipse preamp.Constructed like true acoustic instruments, with bent sides and a braced tone wood top and back, the Renaissance series truly represents the best way to achieve acoustic tone plugged in.

The Classic Series Renaissance models are a limited 10 piece run that offer all of the essential specs of the famous Turner Renaissance RS6, meant to exist alongside the Classic Series Model 1's. The front of the guitar is offered with either Cedar or Spruce with the back and sides being either Walnut or Mahogany. This example is a Cedar / Mahogany combo.
