From the bench of Master Luthier Ed Claxton, Heartbreaker Guitars is pleased to offer two instruments from the same private collection.
This EM is crafted from Cuban Mahogany and Master Grade Adirondack Spruce. Ed is known for his creations using specific tonewood combinations, and this guitar is an absolutely stunning example of that skill. The sound is well defined, articulate, and loud. Did we mention loud?
Ed’s design philosophy is one of simple, understated elegance. One addition however is Ed’s handmade mosaic rosette and bound soundhole, further adding to that asthetic. This guitar features a neck joint at the 13th fret. To further pull every ounce from the Adirondack top, this portion has a French polish finish. For those who know and love Ed’s work, this is a chance to own a magnificent instrument loaded with options for less than the base price of a new commission.
