  • Lowden F35c Red Cedar / Ancient Bog Oak #27712

The Lowden F35 is another phenomenal guitar from master luthier, George Lowden. This particular F35 comes topped with a gorgeous Red Cedar top, complimented by a beautiful example of AAAA Ancient Bog Oak. For those unfamiliar, Bog Oak is an increasingly rare wood that has become a very desirable guitar tonewood in recent times due to its hue, tone, and the nature of its harvesting. Examples of Bog Oak can be as old as 7,000 years, having been buried and preserved under rivers in the Fenlands, giving the wood its signature dark color.

"Bog Oak is a remarkable tone wood for an acoustic guitar. Its dense, aged structure produces a warm and defined sound. It has a very rich, deep bass response that reminds me of a guitar that has already been played for many years.”
    ~George Lowden

Lowden's F size body allows for a significantly wide tonal spectrum, and feels comfortable and ergonomic. With premium tonewoods, understated appointments, and that beautiful George Lowden construction, this F35 is built to impress! Heartbreaker Guitars is your #1 dealer of Lowden Guitars.
