Tone and aesthetics fit for a master player! Richard Fortus has been with Guns and Roses for almost 20 years accompanying legendary guitar player, Slash. His tone, although unique and inspiring also happens to perfectly compliment the legendary tone of Slash. This unique guitar features many Paoletti trademark features including an ancient reclaimed Chestnut body from the Paoletti family stash, a new Paoletti 6Saddles bridge, a reverse headstock with Kluson tuners, and a flat top without leather. 

This signature instrument has been further customized with special wiring that makes the volume control extremely responsive and dynamic. The guitar’s body, like all their creations, is made of Chestnut wood recovered from wine barrels. The neck is pure, premium Roasted Maple from Canada, with a caramel roasting process which makes it more stable and reliable. Paoletti Pickups for Richard Fortus are handmade and manufactured 100% in house. Wired to the guitars electronics with a 22 AWG tinned cloth wire, each pickup is coated with a wax layer to maintain integrity and to protect from any external interference.
