Hello friends and welcome back to another addition of Heartbreaker Guitars Taylor Tuesday blog series! Today we are covering a unique little guitar that packs a big punch! The Taylor GS Mini-e Mahogany! This little guitar not only manages to cram a great sound, a unique playing experience, and Taylor's legendary quality into a travel friendly size, it also does it all for a really reasonable price tag. We'd like to say it's surprising, but it really is just what we have come to expect from the guys over at Taylor. Great quality at a fair price!
This guitar is made from tropical Mahogany and is essentially a parlor sized guitar, but without some of the traditional drawbacks of the smaller body size. While boasting all of the comfort and convenience of the parlor guitar, it also has a full, projected sound that any guitar player could be proud of. With a West African Ebony Fretboard and a respectable Nut Width of 1 11/16", this guitar doesn't feel undersized and cheap, but instead it feels like one you could play for hours without ever becoming uncomfortable. The Taylor GS Mini-e Mahogany is rigged with Taylor's Expression 2 System, with on-board volume and tone knobs, so it is all set to go for any live set you want to run with it. This guitar really comes alive when run through a good house mix, and rests easy through a long set, making it a surprisingly great guitar for gigging. This guitar is also perfect for a little one if you want to start your youngster off with a quality Taylor instrument; it is a serious enough instrument that they can keep it and feel proud of it for the rest of their life.
