Hello friends and welcome back to Heartbreaker Guitars Taylor Tuesday Blog series! Today we are covering another Taylor Artist, and today it is Taylor Artist Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band! This artist, and his band, have garnered widespread acclaim a crossed all genres from artists and critics, as well as enjoying commercial success, and he has chosen to put faith in Taylor Guitar for some of his six string needs! A Little Bit of Background...

Zac Alexander Brown was born on July 31st, 1978, and was raised near Lake Lanier in Georgia. His parents were separated, and he spent most of his time with his mother and stepfather who was a dentist in Cummings, Georgia. He was the 11th child of 12, and got his first guitar as a handy-me-down from his mother when he was 8. He was originally trained as a classical guitar player, but fell in love with bluegrass on trips to his dad's house, while playing with his dad and his brother. In high school he started playing local venues. Image result for zac Brown Zac Brown attended college at West Georgia University, but by the time he was 19 he was already touring regularly as a musician. By 2002 he was playing a heavy tour schedule of 200 shows a year. He would go on to form a band to support these tours, called the Zac Brown Band, who released their debut album "Homegrown" in 2004, from their independent label named, "Southern Ground". 7 studio albums later, and with countless awards and legions of adoring fans, the Zac Brown band is one of the most revered country artists in the business, and Zac Brown is the creative face of the project. With hits like "Chicken Fried", "Toes", and "Free", he as also enjoyed incredible commercial success. Image result for zac Brown

Zac has been known to play a Taylor T3/B, which is Taylor take on a classic semi-hollow design.
