Koa wood is a heavily misunderstood tonewood. Splitting opinions vehemently between it's detractors and the legions of those who love it. Koa is a distinct tonewood grown in the Hawaiian Islands at an elevation above 5,000ft. Koa is one of the most responsive tonewoods you'll ever play on. The trick of it is if you don't play it enough it never opens up and mellows out. It will stay too bright. However, if you give a koa guitar the love and attention it needs, it will treat you right without a doubt!
What is there to say about V-Class bracing that hasn't already been said? It changes the game and with this guitar in particular. Koa wood is already incredibly responsive, and the Grand Auditorium body style is already notoriously diverse in it's capabilities. The V-Class Bracing multiplies both traits, and adds a level of tonal consistency acrossed the EQ spectrum that makes this guitar a tonal world-beater.
